"Stabilizer" weighs 10 lbs by itself. Then add the 3 lb brake for a total of 13 lbs of weight keeping the brake in position.
Engineered with 2 heavy steel plates that are uniquely connected by a locking hinge pin. The brake plate is made from 10 gauge steel and the connecting base plate is a 1/4" inch steel plate. Then powder coated for a smooth finish.
